Thinking ahead to summer - have a Luau and celebrate together

As NYC boutique caterers the

around a theme. 
Since this has been 
a rough winter,
we are all anticipating 
the start of spring 
this weekend as well as 
the sunshine of summer days,
a summer luau was todays task!


In that vein, 
Here are some  
menu ideas for 
a Hawaiian Luau

~ kalua puaa – Hawaiian roasted pig with sweet potato

~ kula green salad topped with taro Croutons + papaya seed dressing accompanied by Molokai Sweet Rolls + macadamia  butter.


~ guava Chicken Kebabs


~ ahi poke- marinated raw ahi tuna







~ swordfish pagoda short plate


~ gingered sweet potato wontons

~ Satay Station with beef, pork,  veggie and/or shrimp satay

~ lau lau 
(steamed Polynesian spinach with pork + fish)

~ lomi lomi salmon + shrimp 
Served on Endive Spears

~ sweet + sour mahi–mahi 

over julienned veggies
+ mango black bean salsa

~ pipi kaula -Hawaiian style jerky
