Italian Wedding in Chinatown Restaurant

this one never came to fruitation as they decided to go completely Chinese but this couple wanted to blend their traditions. The groom was from Hong Kong and the wedding reception was being held in his uncles huge NYC Chinatown Dim Sum Restaurant. The bride was Italian and wanted us to come up with an all Italian prelude to the traditional chinese banquet. Here are some of the choices we presented to them.

As your guests enter the Grand Harmony and are greeted by you and your family, they will be able to help themselves to a bountiful assortment of delicacies at the Tuscan Antipasto Station. They will encounter a colorful array of Bocchochini, Crostini, Marinated and Fresh Vegetables, Italian Cheeses, Brushetta, Caponata and many other tasty dishes. In addition, our waitstaff will be continuously circulating with elegant trays of passed hors d’ouerves and lots of delicious hot and room temperature hors d’oeuvres through out the pre dinner period. Your station choices include a selection of pastas with an attending Chef, made to order Caesar Salad and perhaps a carving area serving roast loin of pork and turkey as well. Other possibilities include filet mignon and chilled shrimp. As the Chef Action Station opens, the rich homey Italian aromas of roasted garlic, tomato, pasta and Caesar salad will waft in the air, enticing your guests to partake in this delicious and traditional delight. This Italian themed segment of your wedding banquet will last for approximately two hours, seguing into the traditional Chinese sitdown dinner. These menus all offer a befitting celebration of your marriage and symbolize the traditional foods that represent Tania and her family.
